Level I: Roll Up (6–12 months)

A parent-and-child class for infants with little or no water experience.
Water comfort, assisted entry/exit, blowing bubbles, front/back floats, and safety skills.

For toddlers with some prior water experience or needing full flotation support.
Underwater exploration, object retrieval, rolling front to back, and passing safely between adults.

Level III: Pre-School Instruction (36 months – 4 years)

Builds early independent swimming skills. 
Independent entry/exit, bobbing, independent floats, and supported kicking. 
Students who complete Level III move to the School Age Program.

School Age Swim Program

American Red Cross – Learn to Swim (6 Levels)

Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills

  • Safe entry/exit, bubble blowing, basic submersion, and intro to kicking.

Independent floating, front/back swimming with arm/leg movement, and breath control.

Freestyle/backstroke progression, rhythmic breathing, and increased swim distance.

  • Refining freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke; underwater swimming.

Breaststroke and butterfly kick, diving, and increasing distance to 25 yards.

Learn-to-Swim Program (3+ years)
